Working with mostly acrylic or oil paint on canvas, wood or paper, Liz has been painting off and on throughout her life. Receiving a BFA in Interior Architecture and design, Liz gained the ability to play with both design and art and that has allowed her to have a well rounded respect for space, color and artistic spirit.
Liz was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia where culture and the arts were highly celebrated. Now, as a mother to two little ones, she makes sure to express the importance of art and design and relay the message to her children that these are key to life. "You don't have to be great at it, you just have to let yourself escape when you're creating art as well as allow yourself to escape and learn when you are viewing art."
"Some people escape by reading books, some people train for marathons and some people bake. Well, I paint. I paint to escape, I paint to celebrate, I paint to look forward, I paint to remember. And I love to capture these things for other people too!"
